Tholen

Ceremonial goblet with the coat of arms of Tholen.

On the bowl a very fine wheel engraving of the crowned coat of arms Tholen as it was in the seventeenth and eighteenth century. The engraving is of a high quality. What stands out are the rather large polished parts in the engraving, like the lions and the ship (a 'koggeschip').

Leadglass (most likely Rotterdam) with a Dutch engraving.

Second quarter eighteenth century.

Height: 19,7 cm.
