'Concordia'

Ceremonial goblet to drink to 'Concordia', in this case the pact of the Seven United Provinces. Here the personification of the pact is shown by a woman with seven arrows in one hand and an olive- and palm-branche in the other as a symbol of peace. The arrows are tied up the way is always seen with the so-called 'fasces'.
